I  created a sweet honey do list.  Almost all of it got done, and I even kept adding to it throughout the weekend.  At one point I thought I heard Ara crying that he was sick of painting, but he drove on.  We put new flooring in the laundry room and he repainted it and then tackled repainting the kitchen pantry.  We did something crazy. We purchased one of those washer/dryer all in one combos.  Not a stacked unit, but one that you put the clothes in, it washes, it drys.  So far no complaints.  Even used my homemade laundry soap and vinegar fabric softener in it.

Cole got a phone privilege on Sunday.  We weren’t expecting him to call.  He sounded super excited and was talking a mile a minute about repelling a 60 ft tower, the gas chamber and obstacle courses.  He had his first PT test (same day as gas chamber) and scored a 292.  He said he scored highest in his company!  He sounded great, his spirits are high, and is looking forward to learning how to use his weapon this week.  They had him stripping and waxing floors all day Sunday.
