Well I was wrong

Well I was wrong. It wasn't surround sound. He got a 20 inch monitor and a memory stick for the computer. When we were at Best Cuts with Cole, we went into Game Stop next door and he actually considered buying a Wii. I literally asked him what was wrong and why he was buying all this stuff. He slumped over and said you're right we don't need a Wii right now.

I started sewing the orange dress for Andi today. According to the package directions I should make a 13-14 and I know that can't be right...She wears a size 1 or 2. So I made a size 5-6. Too small! I have enough leftover to cut out a new bodice and somehow will have to adjust the gathers and seams to make the bottom fit. This will be a test of my sewing skills to see if I still have it. That is if my patience doesn't give out first.

Ara got the first coats of primer on Andi's room. No more ocean blue. She wants it orange. Big surprise!

And the beginnings of a shade garden with future hammock were started this weekend. Ara and I melted in the humidity and got the spot all dug out. We want to turn it over a couple more times and then put a heavy covering of mulch on top so it will be ready for planting in the spring. I sprayed with roundup too just so the stuff we uprooted doesn't try to take root again. Jake may be even more excited about the hammock than I am.

Oh and by the way, so far I am NOT impressed with the powdered laundry detergent I made. I like the goo.
